LAFAYETTE, LA — Fenstermaker Pipeline Division Operations Leader Michael Marine recently earned his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. According to the Project Management Institute, “You can find PMPs leading projects in nearly every country and, unlike other certifications that focus on a particular geography or domain, the PMP is truly global. As a PMP, you can work in virtually any industry, with any methodology and in any location.” The PMP is the most significant industry-recognized certification for Project Managers.
Marine passed the 200 multiple-choice certification exam required to gain his PMP. To maintain it, he must earn 60 professional development units every three years. His dedication to earning the Project Management Professional designation will be beneficial by ensuring projects are completed on time and on budget.
