CONWAY, AR — Nabholz announces Regional President Jake Nabholz will step into the role of Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2022. Current CEO Greg Williams, who jointly serves as Chairman of the Board, will retain his Chairman role. The changes were approved by a unanimous vote of Nabholz’ Board of Directors.

Jake began his 23-year tenure with Nabholz working as a Summer Laborer while in high school. After graduating with his construction management degree from the University of Louisiana Monroe, his career advanced within the company, and he later served in business development and leadership roles in both Tulsa and Central Arkansas.

In 2018, he was promoted to Regional President, overseeing operations in Central and Northeast Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Oklahoma. He currently serves on the board of the Arkansas Children’s Foundation, Philander Smith College Board of Trustees, Conway Corp Board of Directors, and with the Associated General Contractors of Arkansas. Jake is the grandson of company founder Bob Nabholz and the son of current Executive Vice President David Nabholz.

Williams, who recently celebrated his 30th year at Nabholz, has served as CEO since 2014 and in a joint CEO and Chairman role since 2019. During his tenure as CEO, Nabholz’ annual revenue has nearly tripled, and the company has enjoyed four consecutive record revenue years. Williams also oversaw several key acquisitions in new business sectors, including solar and rail transit, and the opening of new locations in Tulsa, Connecticut, North Little Rock, and Central Tennessee.

Williams will maintain his role as Chairman and help guide Jake as he transitions to CEO. “Greg has done a tremendous job setting up the company for geographic growth and further diversification of our service lines. His vision for Nabholz’ future clearly guided his decisions and initiatives, and I hope to continue building on this progress,” Jake said.

Brad Hegeman has been elected Vice Chairman and named Chief Strategy Officer. He will be responsible for Nabholz’ overarching strategy, including long-term planning for further growth and diversification of the company through innovation, market development, new services, and acquisitions. Hegeman first joined Nabholz in 1996 as Corporate Controller and went on to hold various positions, including Regional President for a portion of the company’s construction operations. Hegeman is the Chairman of the Governor’s Military Affairs Council and serves on the University of Central Arkansas Foundation Board and Ronald McDonald House Board. He most recently held the role of Chief Operating Officer alongside Greg Fogle. Fogle will continue to serve as Nabholz’ COO.

The geographic area Jake previously oversaw will be split into two distinct regions with two presidents. Working out of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Executive Vice President Andrew Adlong will be the Regional President of the company’s construction operations in central and northeast Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee. Executive Vice President Michael Feamster will be the Regional President of Nabholz’ construction operations in Oklahoma.
